Juegos Pale 3

Hola, everybody

WARM UP

We did enjoy some soft movements with our bodies It wasn´t nothing major, just enough to wake up our own instrument in preparation for any kind of activity.

1. Rubber chicken

We count 8 times; first with the arms and with the legs. Then we halve the count until we finish it. When we finished we shouted energetically “RUBBER CHICKEN “followed by a wobbly movement.

2. Flower Game

Everyone sits in a circle.

a. Name

b. Eye contact

c. Swap the place in the circle.

· Variation:

We cross the circle expressing different emotions (sadness, anger, happiness).

GAMES

1. Presentation Game

We make pair groups. A tells B facts of his/her life (Name, were are you from, what´s your profession, what would you like to do next Eastern holidays). B just listens and when A finishes then they swap over. The activity takes 5m per person.

Both of them will introduce their partner to the whole group.

2. Duck Duck Goose

All the group are sitting down in a circle. We take one chair away and someone stands up. The person standing has to go around the group and, with a gentle touch on the shoulder, say Duck until she/he feels like they what to say the word “Goose “. At that point, the person who has been goosed has to run after and catch the previous person.

· We did few rounds of the basic structure.

· Variation:

- Opposites ( Black Black White)

- Categories ( fruits, cloths... the word it´s not in the category is the Goose word )

3. Alphabet Island

They have to write their initial name in a sheet of paper, with a big letter. They will shout their eyes and I will place each sheet around the classroom. They will have to find their initial and stand up on it. I went around miming a microphone as if I was an interviewer and asked them questions about their names ( why were they called that, who decided their names, did they know about the historical background of their names, did they feel confident with their names, did they like their names...)

And now, another song

I don't believe you.
